Rather than describe our report structure in detail, we have created a sample Ecolane EV CRP for you to download and see for yourself. The sample is based on a fictional logistics operator, ACE Logistics, with a mixed fleet of diesel HGVs and vans part-way through electrification.
The sample Carbon Reduction Plan is built exactly as yours would be: tracked fuel use for every vehicle over at least a 12 month period, all emissions reported across Scope 1, Scope 2 and the mandated Scope 3 categories, and a final report including the Government approved PPN 006 template and ready for board sign-off.
The Ecolane EV CRP also indicates the source of your fleet’s greatest emissions and which vehicles are the priority candidates for electrification (which will be confirmed within the more detailed follow-on EV Transition Plan).

Included in the CRP sample
- The vehicle-level method: Eighteen vehicles, each with its own distance, fuel and emissions, not an aggregate total. The CRP shows precisely which vehicle emissions dominate: six diesel HGVs carry the overwhelming majority of the footprint, while five electric vans covering similar distances barely register.
- Emissions Scope rigour: Scope 1 (combustion), Scope 2 (electricity), and Scope 3 (well-to-tank upstream and the mandated categories) reconciled and reported on the correct basis.
- Regulatory command: Completed to the current PPN 006 template ready for board approval, with the baseline, targets, reduction measures and declaration required by a contracting authority.
